Mike Mikutowski – PAGODA BOX

$95.00

This square wooden Pagoda Box, elevated on delicate hand-cut Wenge wood legs, reminds us of the simple elegance of Far East architecture. Eyes are drawn to the contrasting lids of shimmering maple, Tamo ash, Bubinga or Zebrawood. In addition, the hand-cut Wenge corner splines add both strength and beauty. The bottom interior is lined whereas the inside of the lid is wood. The contrasting wood species from which these small wooden Pagoda Boxes are made, echo the diversity found in nature, yet result in each wood box being a unique, one-of-a kind piece in which to place prized possessions.

Remember, our products are never stained and only coated with a clear finish.

This Box is shown in Bubinga Curly Maple Lid

Description

Founded in 1986, Mikutowski Woodworking is the definition of “small but mighty”. MikWood specializes in handmade, high quality wooden boxes and is located in North Eastern Wisconsin/Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Many are shocked to learn the fine woodworking shop employs only five people to take raw lumber through the hands-on production process. Another three employees bring the finished product through the invoicing, packing, and shipping stages as well as provide excellent customer service. Despite the small workforce, MikWood manages to produce about 30 different products
